2011 Audi TT RS Coupe / TT RS Cabriolet Audi is introducing the sport TT Coupe and Roadster RS to S-Tronic automatic transmission with seven speeds, known as DSG in Volkswagen.
With dual clutch, new transmission will offer improved fuel economy, lower emissions and higher performance than the manual transmission.
The engine used in the TT RS is a five-cylinder 2.5 TFSI with 340 hp and 450 nm. With it, the TT RS can make an average of 11.8 mpg and emit 197 g / km of CO2.
To get an idea of how the TT RS was better with the exchange rate S-Tronic seven-speed, before he went from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.6 seconds. With the new transmission, the German sporting low this time to 4.3 seconds.

This new TT RS harks back to the sporting legacy of 1980s Audi Quattros - with their high performance five-cylinder turbocharged the TT RS will include an all-new 2.5 litre inline five-cylinder Turbocharged Fuel Stratified Injectionpetrol engine. This new 183 kilograms (403 lb) engine produces a DIN-rated motive power output of 250 kilowatts (340 PS; 335 bhp) from 5,400 to 6,700 rpm, and torque of 450 newton metres (332 ft·lbf) at 1,600-5,300 rpm. engines, (TFSI)
Historically, after the original Audi "RS" model - the Audi RS2 Avant, all Audi "RS" models have their assembly carried out at the quattro GmbH factory in Neckarsulm, Germany. The TT RS will be the first Audi RS vehicle that will not have any of its assembly performed in Neckarsulm, and will be completely assembled in the Audi factory in Győr, Hungary, alongside its' 'lesser' Audi TT brethren.
The TT RS has a new short-shift close-ratio six-speed manual transmission, and like all "RS" models, is only available with Audi's 'trademark' quattro four-wheel drive system, with the TT RS using a specially adapted version of the latest generation multi-plate clutch from Haldex Traction. Additions to the quattro system include a constant velocity joint before the cardan propeller shaft, and a compact rear-axle differential – uprated to cope with the increased torque from the five cylinder turbo engine.
Like the TTS, the TT RS has a 10 millimetres (0.4 in) lower ride height, optional "Audi Magnetic Ride", and rides on standard 18 inch roadwheels with 245/45 ZR18 tyres (optional 19" or 20" wheels are also available)^]brakes are uprated to include two-piece cross-drilled and radially vented front discs, sized at 370 millimetres (14.6 in) in diameter.The front discs are clamped by gloss black painted four-piston calipers, adorned with the RS logo.Rear ventilated discs are sized at 310 millimetres (12.2 in) in diameter. It includes a fixed rear spoiler (retractable optional), and has black interior with heated Alcantara/leather sports seats (Silk Nappa, Fine Nappa leather optional). The Recaro "RS bucket" seats, first seen in the Audi B7 RS4 are also available as an option. Also carried over from the B7 RS4 is the 'Sport' button, which sharpens the throttle response and deepens the exhaust note, and a three-stage user-selectable Electronic Stability Programme (ESP).
Official performance figures indicate the TT RS Coupé will accelerate from standstill to 100 kilometres per hour (62.1 mph) in 4.6 seconds (4.7 seconds for the Roadster), with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kilometres per hour (155.3 mph). There is a factory option to de-restrict the top speed to 280 kilometres per hour (174.0 mph). The Coupé has a kerb weight of 1,450 kilograms (3,197 lb),and the Roadster weighs in at 1,510 kilograms (3,329 lb).
As of 2010 the TT-RS is available with the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission capable of handling the torque delivered by the engine. The 6-speed gearbox used in the TT-S cannot cope with 450 newton metres (332 ft·lbf) which is why the TT-RS initially was offered only with a manual transmission.
The car went on sale in March 2009, with delivery beginning in summer.
In 2010, the TT-RS was confirmed for the US market. The decision was influenced by an internet petition to bring the TT-RS stateside, which succeeded with over 11,000 signatures. The TT-RS is expected to arrive in Q3 2011.

So far we have seen the spy shots and also official sketch by Audi how the R8 Spyder will look like. Problem with spy shots(if the car is disguised) and sketches is that they work as teasers.
Until Audi releases official images of the R8 Spyder our artist has created a rendering of the open top R8.
We expect the R8 Spyder to come first with the 4.2-liter V8 producing 420 hp. Later on more powerful version with Lamborghini’s 5.2-liter V10 producing 528 hp should follow.

Our sources say that Audi will introduce the R8 Spyder next spring. Sales in Europe will start beginning of 2010. U.S sales in 2011.

The Audi A6 is an executive car produced by the German automaker Audi AG at their factory in Neckarsulm, Germany. It is available in both saloon, and Avant (Audi's term for an estate) body styles.
All generations of the A6 have been available as either front-wheel drive, or with Audi's trademark Torsen-based quattro permanent four-wheel drive (4WD) system, whilst the second and third generation A6 were also used as the basis for the "Audi allroad quattro" and "A6 allroad quattro" models respectively.

The second-generation A6 was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 2000 and 2001. The updated 2005 A6 won the World Car of the Year award for 2005. The Audi A6 has again been awarded the title “Best of All Classes” in the Faults Report 2011 of the DEKRA testing organization. For the third time in a row the Audi A6 placed first in the overall rating by the world market leader in automotive testing, as the institute describes itself. The results of the Faults Report 2011 were announced in Stuttgart today.
The DEKRA experts award the title to the models with the lowest fault rate over a high mileage, thus rewarding high long-term quality. In preparing the 2011 Faults Report DEKRA will be using the new DEKRA defects index. This classification system incorporates the rating of “considerable defects” as an evaluation criterion in addition to “no relevant defects”. According to DEKRA, taking into account the share of considerable defects among all defects allows evaluations to be even more exact.
For the “DEKRA Faults Report 2011” experts looked only at models for which at least 1,000 units have been tested in the particular mileage class.
Audi is continuing the success story of the most reliable business sedan. The new A6 will be launched in early 2011. The new edition of the A6 is distinguished by top quality and innovative solutions in all technical areas.

Even as most of the rest of the U.S. auto industry is still licking their wounds and hoping the recession is finally over, the good news just keeps piling up for Audi. Now, the Audi S4 has been named Esquire magazine’s 2010 Car of the Year. The magazine raved that it is “the most joyous, breathtaking, sophisticated (and, get this: attainable) car you can buy,” selecting it over other finalists including the Ford Mustang, Buick Regal, Porsche Boxster and another Audi, the A8. Esquire waxed about S4’s new six-cylinder engine, its “alert and precise” handling and the fact that it can be had for a mere $45,900. But in doing so, the magazine paid homage to more than S4. Recognizing that the car really is just one result of a long arc of improvement for Audi, its vehicles and its brands, Esquire’s Sam Smith observed: “Just ten years ago, picking an Audi would have been a stretch. Following more than a decade of inconsistent sales and faced with flourishing competition and few outstanding cars, the brand was badly in need of reinvention. So it reinvented itself. Audi eyed the market, spotted a few holes, and set about filling them.” And this year, in the US market, Audi had its best first-half sales ever, and executives believe they’re on their way to a record year here.
