The new 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept was just unveiled today in Detroit, during the opening days of the 2012 North American International Auto Show. With fresh new styling, revised engines, and a re-styled interior, the 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept hopes to continue to win the hearts of its fans. Even though most of its front fascia has been re-designed, the 2013 Accord Coupe Concept manages to keep the identity of the model.
The new headlights with integrated LEDs, the more aggressive front bumper with circular LED fog lights, and the new hood give the 2013 Accord Coupe a more muscular and aggressive look.
The rear of the 2013 Accord Coupe shows new taillights and a pair of huge exhaust pipes. Some of these design features seen on the 2013 Accord Coupe concept might get lost on their way to production, however, we're sure that most of them will be transferred to the road going model.
The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe Concept previews the ninth generation of the model, which will come with more efficient engines and new technology. The United States version of the 2013 Accord Coupe will be available with a 2.4-liter direct-injected engine and a two-motor plug-in hybrid system, developed with the help of the new Earth Dreams technology.
The petrol version of the Honda Accord Coupe 2013 will have a 2.4-liter, 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC® four-cylinder engine developing 181 hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. This engine will be mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a newly developed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). A more powerful version of the Accord Coupe 2013 will have a 3.5-liter, 24-valve, SOHC, i-VTEC V6 engine with an increased output in comparison to the current generation version. Honda will sell the 2013 Accord Coupe with the Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) technology, which will be available for the automatic versions of the model.

The 2013 Honda Accord Coupe hybrid will have a 2.0-liter, i-VTEC inline four-cylinder gasoline engine, mated to an electric Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT). The internal combustion engine will work together with a 120 kW electric motor, juiced by a 6 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery. Honda claims that the 2013 Accord Coupe will have a range of 10-15 miles in city in the electric-only mode, at a top speed of 62 mph.

The standard safety features of the 2013 Accord Coupe will include Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Forward Collision Warning (FCW), LaneWatch blind-spot display, rearview back-up camera and an Expanded View Driver's Mirror. For entertainment purposes, the Accord Coupe 2013 will offer a full-color intelligent Multi-Information Display (i-MID) with a SMS function, Pandora Internet Radio and Bluetooth connectivity.
