2012 Acura RL review
Leading the way of its fleet of cars is the 2012 Acura RL. Not much has changed on the outside or inside, but improved technology is a wonderful zing. Not only is its own basic technology upgraded, such as Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, but the optional technology package is sporting a navigation system, rearview camera, a GPS climate control system, and of course AcuraLink which gives you real time traffic information.

The new RL comes standard in a V6 with a 5 speed automatic with SportShift and overdrive. Not too shabby for a sedan. It may be lacking in torque, as some people say, but it makes up for it with a smooth ride and shift. It’s the sort of thing you look for in a sport’s sedan, but might not think Acura could pull it off. Yet here it obviously does.

On the outside its lines are smooth and appealing to the eyes. Not too sporty, but certainly with a sports car touch to bump it up a notch. It comes in a nice variety of exterior colors, eight to be exact and only three of those being shades of gray and interior colors, tan, parchment and ebony. It may be lacking on trunk space to some, but it still can carry five people comfortably.
