2011 Acura MDX is a luxury SUV that comes with Super Handling All Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. This model receives no significant changes for 2011.

This crossover is top rated in crash tests and can seat seven occupants. It competes against BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz M-Class, and Lexus RX 350.

Trim Levels and Options

Acura MDX is available in single trim level. The available standard equipments include 18-inch wheels, fog lamps, automatic xenon headlamps, sunroof, power lift- gate, 8-way heated power front seats, satellite radio, privacy glass, Bluetooth connectivity, power telescopic or tilt steering, and 8-speaker sound system with 6-CD changer.

The technology package adds a multi-view parking camera, navigation system, backup camera, leather upholstery, GPS-linked and solar-sensing climate control, heated second-row seats, and rear-seat entertainment system.

2011 Acura MDX is equipped with a 3.7-liter V6 that produces 300 horsepower at 6300 rpm and 270 pound-feet of torque at 4500 rpm. The engine is coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission.

MDX speeds up from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds. EPA-estimated fuel economy of this vehicle is around 16 mpg in city, 21 mpg on highways, and 18 miles per gallon combined; it has a maximum 5,000 pounds of tow rating.
